UDISE Plus Student Module Overview

The Unified District Information System code serves as an exclusive marker allocated to educational institutions that have been registered on the Unified District Information System system. This 11-digit code is linked to accredited schools spanning from early childhood education to the twelfth grade. The code undergoes a progression through four distinct phases: creation, adjustment, status transition, and eventual cessation. Following its allocation, the Unified District Information System code remains fixed for a particular school and may only be altered in cases where the school’s administrative district or state undergoes modification.

UDISE Plus Student Module: Getting UDISE Code

Obtaining a Unified District Information System code for a school involves the school user reaching out to the district MIS officer and providing the necessary documentation. The district MIS user will then proceed to request the code via the Unified District Information system, following which it undergoes verification and approval by the state MIS user. Upon receiving approval at the state level, the application is forwarded to the Ministry of Education for the generation of the Unified District Information System code, a process typically taking around a week to finalize.
