Ladakh RTE Admission List 2025-2026
Ladakh RTE Admission PDF 2025: The Ladakh RTE School Admission List for the year 2025-26 is available in PDF format. According to the provisions set forth in the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education (RTE) Act of 2009, it is mandatory for all states and Union Territories to implement the policy of ‘Right to Free and Compulsory Education’ in unaided private schools every academic year.
This law requires that private schools reserve 25% of their total seats for students coming from socially disadvantaged and economically backward backgrounds. Specifically, the RTE Act specifies that private schools must allocate 25% of their seats at the entry level, including Lower Kindergarten (LKG) and Class I, for children belonging to economically and socially disadvantaged segments of society.
Additionally, state governments give priority to the admission of children falling under specific categories such as conservancy workers, individuals affected by HIV, persons with disabilities, and orphans under the RTE admissions policy. The admission process should commence through a public announcement, providing sufficient time for applicants to submit their requests online to the nearest private school.
Moreover, the selection procedure must be carried out in a transparent manner, possibly utilizing a Draw of Lots system. Following this, the results of the admission process should be prominently displayed on the school notice board and published on the official website of the institution, including the names of all candidates and their respective roll numbers.
