HSRP Number Plate Odisha 2024: The installation of High-Security Registration Plates (HSRP) is an exclusive service provided by vehicle manufacturers (OEMs) and their authorized dealers. Only the designated HSRP provider approved by the OEMs will distribute the plates to their authorized dealers. The task of affixing HSRP on older vehicles will be undertaken by the OEMs’ authorized dealers.
In order to maintain transparency and prevent any instances of overcharging, vehicle owners are required to schedule the installation of HSRP and make payment through a designated online platform approved by the OEM. Through this portal, owners can select a dealer, location, and preferred installation date based on their convenience. Regular updates on the status of their order will be communicated to owners through SMS notifications via the authorized portal.
To uphold transparency, OEMs or their dealers are mandated to prominently display the charges for HSRP installation at their showrooms and on the HSRP portal. Additional services for installing HSRP at a different location may be provided for an additional fee, subject to the owner’s approval.
Upon completion of the HSRP installation, OEMs or their dealers must update the laser code in the VAHAN portal. Vehicles lacking a valid Registration Certificate, Fitness Certificate (for Transport Vehicles), or with outstanding tax obligations will not be eligible for HSRP installation by OEMs or their authorized dealers. It is incumbent upon OEMs to make necessary adjustments to their portal in compliance with these guidelines.
