We are currently on the lookout for Category I Graduate Apprentices in the fields of Engineering and Technology, particularly focusing on Mechanical and Automobile Engineering. A total of 18 apprenticeship positions are open for eager candidates. Each apprentice will receive a monthly stipend of Rs.9000, ensuring they have financial backing throughout their training. This apprenticeship lasts for one year, allowing participants to acquire significant practical skills in their respective areas.

Additionally, there are opportunities for Category II Diploma (Technician) Apprentices in Engineering and Technology, also specializing in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering. There are 61 positions available for those who wish to enhance their expertise in these disciplines. During their training, apprentices will be awarded a monthly stipend of Rs.8000 to facilitate their education and growth. This program spans one year, offering a comprehensive period for apprentices to build hands-on experience and deepen their understanding in their selected field.

TNMVMD Apprentice Recruitment Qualifications 2024

Category I Graduate Apprentices need to have a full-time degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized Statutory University in their specific field. They may also meet the requirements with a full-time degree from an institution authorized by an Act of Parliament in the relevant discipline, or by passing a graduate examination from professional bodies that are acknowledged by either the State or Central Government as equivalent to these qualifications.

Conversely, Category II Technician (Diploma) Apprentices are required to possess a full-time Diploma in Engineering or Technology awarded by a State Council or Board of Technical Education set up by the State Government in the relevant area. They may also qualify with a Diploma in Engineering or Technology from a University or one granted by an institution recognized by the State or Central Government as equivalent to the qualifications mentioned above.

TNMVMD Apprentice Recruitment Selection Procedure 2024

The Board of Apprenticeship Training (SR) is tasked with compiling a shortlist from the data submitted in online applications. Selection will be determined by the percentage of marks obtained in the necessary basic qualifications for each discipline. Candidates who make it onto the shortlist will be informed via their registered email. Those selected will be required to participate in a Certificate Verification session at TNMVMD in Chennai.

How to apply TNMVMD Apprentice Recruitment 2024?

If you’ve previously registered as a student on the old National Web Portal (www.mhrdnats.gov.in) and have your login details, please indicate by typing “A.”

Step 1:
a. Visit the website at https://nats.education.gov.in
b. Select the option labeled for Students
c. Choose Student login
d. Click on Forgot Password
e. Enter your registered email address to obtain the activation link for resetting your password.

Step 2:
a. Log in as a student
b. Provide your registered email and create a new password
c. Complete the application form
d. You will receive a unique 12-digit Enrollment number assigned to you.

Once you have finished the enrollment process on the new portal:
To submit an application:
a. Sign in with your email and new password
b. Go to “Apply against advertised vacancies” and look for “TAMIL NADU MOTOR VEHICLES MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT”
c. Click to apply. Your application status will update to “applied.”
