TN MRB Assistant Surgeon Recruitment Age Limit 2024

Candidates falling under different groupings like Scheduled Castes (SCs), Scheduled Castes (Arunthathiyars) (SC(A)s), Scheduled Tribes (STs), Most Backward Classes/ Denotified Communities (MBC&DNCs), Backward Classes (BCs), and Backward Class Muslims (BCMs) (including Ex-Servicemen from these groups) are required to be 59 years old by 01.07.2024. Individuals classified as “Others” need to attain the age of 37 by 01.07.2024, whereas those with disabilities in this category should be 47 years old by the specified date. Ex-Servicemen falling under the “Others” group must not exceed 50 years of age by 01.07.2024.

TN MRB Assistant Surgeon Educational Qualification 2024

Candidates seeking the Assistant Surgeon (General) role should hold a qualification equivalent to one granted by a University or Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission and sanctioned by the Medical Council of India. Eligibility for this position requires candidates to have completed an MBBS Degree and meet the following criteria:

  • Being a registered practitioner in accordance with the Madras Medical Registration Act of 1914.
  • Having completed a minimum of twelve months as a House Surgeon (CRRI).

Applicants falling under the categories of SC/SCA/ST/DAP(PH) are obliged to remit a fee of Rs. 500 for the TN MRB Assistant Surgeon Recruitment examination, while individuals from other categories are expected to pay Rs. 1000. It should be kept in mind that once an online application has been submitted and verified, it cannot be withdrawn, and the registration fee is set as non-reimbursable and unalterable under any circumstances.
