Department of Employment and TrainingDE (DET) TN ITI Admission 2024: Enrollment for vocational training institutes (ITI) in Tamil Nadu for the year 2024 has commenced under the Department of Employment and TrainingDE (DET) TN ITI Admission. The state boasts a total of 102 Government Vocational Training Centers and 305 Private Vocational Training Centers, all overseen by the Employment and Training Department. TN ITI Admission 2024: How to apply online?
To secure admission to Vocational Training Institutes for the year 2024 in Tamil Nadu, applicants must carefully engage with the instructional video and manual provided before proceeding with the application process.
Candidates are urged to have all original certificates primed for submission at the vocational training center during the admission process. Failure to present these documents will result in disqualification of the application.
It is the sole responsibility of the applicant to ensure the accuracy of all information uploaded. Any inconsistencies found may lead to rejection by the relevant authorities at any stage of the application process.
When completing the application, have the following documents ready:
- Candidate’s Name
- Email Address
- Phone Number
It is imperative to provide a valid and unique email address and phone number as they cannot be altered later and will be used for all future communications. Double-check that these details are not already registered on the website.
The Date of Birth provided must confirm that the candidate has reached 14 years of age by 01.08.2024.
Additionally, applicants must include information on Community/Caste (ST/SCA/SC/MBC/DNT/BCM/BC) and provide their Aadhaar number as part of the application process.

TN ITI Admission 2024: Required Documents
To complete the online application fee payment, kindly provide the required information using Debit card, credit card, Gpay, or Net banking. For the year 2021, it is necessary for parents of 10th-grade students to register the marks obtained in the 9th grade.
Ensure the following certificates are scanned and saved in JPEG format with a file size ranging between 50 kb to 100 kb:
- Mark Sheet of 8th/10th grade
- Transfer Certificate
- Community or Caste Certificate
- Priority Reservation Certificate
- Migration Certificate (for applicants from different states)
Additionally, prepare passport-sized photos and signatures in JPG format with the photo size between 50 kb to 100 kb and the signature size between 10 kb to 20 kb. The EMIS No. can be found on the student’s Transfer Certificate or School ID card.
